On the afternoon of October 11th, Leshan Vocational and Technical College held a Zoom video conference with the Thai Red Cross Nursing College (hereinafter referred to as "STIN") and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on site. Attending and participating in the signing ceremony were Kanogwan Suwanpatikorn, Principal of STIN; Vilailert Komton, Vice Principal; relevant persons in charge of international cooperation; Liu Zhong, Principal of Leshan Vocational and Technical College; Chen Zhihai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union; heads of the Academic Affairs Office; and relevant personnel from the International College.
Kanogwan Suwanpatikorn expressed her gratitude to our school for its strong support in the field of nursing talent cultivation and hoped to continue cooperation with our school in areas such as teacher and student exchanges, academic discussions, and other related fields. In his speech, Liu Zhong introduced the development history and educational philosophy of our school, reviewed the friendly cooperation between the two schools since 2011 in various aspects such as teacher and student exchanges, mutual visits of leaders, and international academic conferences, and gave a virtual tour of the Leshan Vocational and Technical College campus to the STIN representatives. Liu Zhong stated that he looks forward to using the renewal of the friendly school agreement as an opportunity to exchange educational resources and carry out project cooperation, contributing to Sino-Thai nursing education cooperation.
Subsequently, both parties signed the friendly school agreement on site. According to the agreement, the two schools will adhere to the principles of friendship, cooperation, complementary advantages, and resource sharing. They will conduct in-depth cooperation in areas such as nursing talent cultivation and teacher and student exchanges, build a sustainable friendly cooperative partnership, improve the professional level of teachers in educational teaching, promote the individual growth of students, and promote the common development of the two schools. They will also carry out exchange and mutual visit activities at an appropriate time.
