On the afternoon of October 26th, 2015, at 2:30 p.m., Mr. Jeremy Allred, the Director of Admissions from East Los Angeles College in the United States, visited our college to discuss cooperation.

In the conference room on the third floor of the college, the meeting was attended by Chen Zhihai, Deputy Secretary of the College Party Committee and Discipline Inspection Secretary, Huang Xiaoli, Director of the Party Office, College Office, and International Affairs Office, Zhang Xuehe, Secretary of the Party Branch of the School of Finance and Management, Mei Shuxian, Deputy Director, He Jiajian, Deputy Director of the Tourism Department, Professor Guo Suqin from the School of Finance, Vice President Peng Yuanyuan of Haitian Company, and relevant staff from the International Affairs Office.

During the meeting, Mr. Chen welcomed Mr. Jeremy and introduced the basic situation of our college, including its academic programs and international cooperation and exchange. Mr. Jeremy introduced the situation of East Los Angeles College and expressed his desire for cooperation. He proposed establishing a "2+1" cooperative program between the two colleges (where students would complete the first two years of study at our college and the third year at their college) in majors such as accounting, business administration, and logistics. Through the symposium, both sides reached a consensus on the feasibility of the "2+1" cooperative program, the alignment of professional courses, and the exchange of faculty and students.
