On the morning of May 29th, 2015, a group of 17 students from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in the United States, accompanied by three teachers, visited our college. Students from the International Nursing Program of our college’s Nursing Department held a face-to-face exchange activity with the visiting American teachers and students in the nursing skills training laboratory.
During the exchange meeting, the students extended a warm welcome to their American friends and introduced the basic situation of the Nursing Department and the unique features of the International Nursing Program at our college. Both sides engaged in discussions on topics of mutual interest, including vocational education, nursing education, and nursing qualification exams in China and the United States. In the interactive segment, the participants showcased the distinct cultural characteristics and professional strengths of both countries. Under the guidance of our students, the American visitors toured the college’s nursing skills training laboratory and the Human Science Museum, and they took group photos as souvenirs.
Through this face-to-face exchange between Chinese and American students, both parties deepened their understanding of the cultural differences between the two countries. The event also broadened the international horizons of our students and enhanced the international atmosphere on campus.
