On the afternoon of April 28th at 4:00 p.m., a delegation of seven people from Japanese elderly care institutions visited our college, accompanied by Mr. Zhang Jun, General Manager of the Japan Branch of China Intelligence. In the conference room on the third floor of the college, the meeting was attended by Jie Lu, Secretary of the College Party Committee, Vice President Tang Liu Hong, heads and relevant staff from the International Office, Propaganda Department, Academic Affairs Office, Nursing Department, and the Affiliated Hospital. The symposium was chaired by Vice President Tang Liu Hong.

During the meeting, Secretary Jie Lu extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the Japanese elderly care institutions and introduced the history of friendly exchanges between Leshan and Japan, as well as the basic situation of our college. Mr. Tokuma Teruaki, representative of the Tsushima Medical and Welfare Group, gave an introduction to the basic situation of elderly care in Japan and the Tsushima Medical and Welfare Group. Established in 1983, the Tsushima Medical and Welfare Group has a total of 69 office locations related to health and wellness care in Rishiri, Tokyo, and Sendai.

Through the symposium, both sides expressed their willingness to cooperate in the field of elderly care and engaged in in-depth discussions on issues such as the establishment of Sino-Japanese health and wellness standards, the construction of related academic programs, and curriculum design.
