On the morning of December 8th, a delegation of three people, including Mr. Kandianto, Principal of SMK-SMTI Padang Vocational School in Indonesia, visited our college. An exchange symposium was held in the conference room on the third floor of the college. Attending the symposium were Liu Zhong, President of the college, Chen Zhihai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Discipline Inspection Secretary, Huang Xiaoli, Director of the Party Office and International Affairs Office, Ye Hongguang, Director of the Student Affairs Office, as well as relevant leaders and staff from the Academic Affairs Office, Human Resources Office, and International Affairs Office. The symposium was chaired by Deputy Secretary Chen Zhihai.

During the symposium, President Liu Zhong extended a warm welcome to Principal Kandianto and his delegation on behalf of the college. He introduced the basic situation of Leshan, as well as the college’s history, academic programs, faculty, and international exchanges to the guests. Mr. Kandianto also provided a detailed introduction to the educational philosophy, academic system, and program characteristics of SMK-SMTI Padang Vocational School and expressed his desire for cooperation. Both sides focused on discussing the possibility and feasibility of a short-term study exchange program and a short-term professional internship program for a delegation of teachers and students from SMK-SMTI Padang Vocational School to our college. At the end of the meeting, both parties reached a preliminary intention for cooperation and exchange. SMK-SMTI Padang Vocational School plans to send a delegation of teachers and students to our college for a one-week exchange in May 2017.
