On the afternoon of April 9, 2025, Professor Zhang Zhijun, a guest professor at Leshan Vocational and Technical College, and the Party Branch Secretary and Dean of the School of Marxism at Chengdu Aeronautics Vocational and Technical College, delivered a special report on "Situation and Policy" in the Academic Report Hall. Over 150 participants attended, including teachers of ideological and political courses from the School of Marxism and student representatives from the Marxist-Leninist societies of various secondary colleges.

Professor Zhang Zhijun's report, titled "The Secrets Behind Sino-US Rivalry: Geopolitics, Economic Competition, and the Future of Technology", systematically elaborated on the current opportunities and challenges facing Sino-US relations from five aspects: the reconstruction of power in the era of globalization, the multi-dimensional battleground of political rivalry, the duality of economic interdependence and competition, the invisible war in the field of technology and innovation, and the variables and ways to break the deadlock in future rivalry. He pointed out that the United States should meet the common expectations of the people of both countries and the world, move in the same direction as China, jointly promote mutually beneficial cooperation, share the responsibilities of major countries, and jointly promote people-to-people exchanges. He emphasized that young students, as the future pillars of the nation, need not only solid professional knowledge but also a broad international perspective and deep national sentiment.
