The College Holds the Graduation Ceremony for International Students of the Class of 2016

On the afternoon of May 26, 2016, the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2016 international students was grandly held in the conference room on the sixth floor of the college. Attending the ceremony were President Liu Zhong of the college, Deputy Party Secretary and Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary Chen Zhihai, representatives from the International Affairs Office, the International Student Management Office, leaders of the departments where the international students were enrolled, and all the international students currently on campus. The ceremony was presided over by Ms. Huang Xiaoli, Director of the Party (College) Office, International Affairs Office, and International Student Management Office.

This year, a total of 21 international students from Laos, Thailand, and Nepal graduated or completed their studies at the college. Deputy Party Secretary Chen Zhihai read out the list of graduates and completers at the ceremony.

President Liu Zhong presented graduation certificates to 10 international students who had completed their studies and delivered a speech. He acknowledged the achievements of the college's international student programs, expressed gratitude to the teachers involved in international student teaching and management, and extended his heartfelt congratulations to the graduating and completing international students. He hoped that the students would become bridges of international friendship and contribute to the social development and lasting friendship between China and Laos, China and Thailand, and China and Nepal in their future lives and careers.

At the ceremony, Teacher Yang Qing, representing the faculty, warmly congratulated the graduating and completing international students. Paryu Qin, an international student from Thailand, and Picasso, an international student from Nepal, expressed their deep gratitude to the college leaders and teachers for their care and support on behalf of all the international students. A video titled "Goodbye, We Will Meet Again" was also played to review the international students' campus life. The video documented the students' learning experiences, daily life, and reflections during their time at the college, moving both the international students present and the teachers who had worked hard for their programs.
