On December 4, 2023, Liu Jiao, Deputy Director of the Exit and Entry Administration Brigade of the Shizhong District Public Security Bureau of Leshan City and a second-level police officer, along with Ma Ying, a third-level police officer, conducted a lecture on foreign-related laws and regulations for all international students currently enrolled at our university. He Dehong, Vice Dean of the International College, teacher Qiu Ke from the International College, and international student counselor Liu Qingwen participated in the lecture.

The two police officers first explained the basic knowledge. They then, in simple and understandable language, provided detailed elaborations on campus security prevention, anti-fraud measures on campus, and important points for international students to note, taking into account the characteristics of international students and using real-life cases.

The purpose of this special lecture was to continuously deepen international students' understanding and awareness of China's laws and regulations, as well as relevant public security management provisions. It aimed to enhance the students' security awareness and further promote the standardized management of international students at our university.
