On June 18, 2024, international students at our university participated in an experience activity for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) courses. The event aimed to allow students to gain a deep understanding of the profoundness of TCM culture and to experience its unique charm.

Led by teachers from the College of TCM Health and Wellness, the students carefully observed the diagnostic process of TCM, which includes inspection, auscultation and olfaction, inquiry, and palpation. They also personally experienced TCM massage and herbal medicine.

Working in pairs, the students practiced under the guidance of their mentors. Although their initial attempts were somewhat awkward, the international students showed great interest and enthusiasm. They expressed that these therapies not only have unique therapeutic effects but also reflect the profoundness of TCM culture.

This TCM course experience activity not only provided international students with a rare learning opportunity but also injected new vitality into the inheritance and development of TCM culture.
