To continuously deepen the educational work for international students and enable them to personally experience the essence and artistic charm of traditional Chinese culture through cultural experience activities jointly and continuously organized with other universities, our university was invited by Chengdu Aeronautic Polytechnic. From May 13th to 14th, we organized international students to participate in the "Riding the Wind in May, Chasing Dreams in the Blue Sky" academic study tour hosted by Chengdu Aeronautic Polytechnic.

During this event, 40 international student representatives from six countries at the two institutions visited Chengdu Aeronautic Polytechnic to experience simulated flight. They also explored the charm of Chinese intangible cultural heritage—paper-cutting—with just a piece of paper and a pair of scissors. Additionally, they visited the main venue and media center of the Universiade to experience the diverse culture and economic development of Sichuan, and traversed the historical corridors of the Sichuan Provincial Museum to appreciate the history and culture of Bashu.

Through these activities, the students experienced the intelligent and low-carbon economic development philosophy of Sichuan and gained an understanding of the historical value and cultural connotations of China's major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics. The students expressed their intention to share real, multi-dimensional, and comprehensive stories about China with their friends and family, actively contributing to the mutual understanding between Chinese and foreign peoples and the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
