On the afternoon of May 10th, Mr. Díaz, the Consul General of Chile in Chengdu, and one other member of his delegation visited the college, accompanied by Ms. Chen Yingli, Deputy Director of the Economic Cooperation and Foreign Affairs Bureau of Leshan City. The college's president Liu Zhong, Party Committee Deputy Secretary Chen Zhihai, Vice President Feng Jiafu, Director of the Party and Government Office Wang Yuanmin, Dean of Academic Affairs Chen Xiaolu, and other heads of relevant departments received the visitors.

Mr. Díaz and his delegation successively visited the college's Solar Energy Research Institute, Industrial Robot System Integration Center, and Rehabilitation Training Room. They learned about the college's scale of operation, development overview, professional training, and talent cultivation. They also observed the classroom teaching of industrial robots and rehabilitation therapy and engaged in discussions with the instructors about practical teaching in these fields.

Mr. Díaz stated that the visit provided the delegation with an in-depth understanding of the college. He expressed his intention to recommend Chilean universities to establish cooperative relationships with the college, in order to promote educational exchanges and cooperation between Chile and Leshan. On behalf of the college, President Liu Zhong presented gifts to Mr. Díaz, and all participants took a group photo as a memento.
