On November 1, Sayasone Sisavath, Deputy Director of the Luang Prabang Provincial Department of Education and Sports, led a delegation to visit our college. Both sides held talks on the education and training of Lao international students and teacher exchanges and cooperation. President Liu Zhong of the college attended the talks, along with relevant personnel from the International Cooperation Office and the Academic Affairs Office.

At the symposium, President Liu Zhong extended a warm welcome to the delegation led by Sayasone Sisavath. He introduced the college's distinctive features, major construction, and international exchanges and cooperation to the guests. He reviewed the history and achievements of the bilateral cooperation in international student education and expressed the hope that the Luang Prabang Provincial Department of Education and Sports would send more outstanding students from Luang Prabang to study at Leshan Vocational and Technical College. He hoped that both sides would work together to provide strong talent support for the economic and cultural construction and development of China and Laos.

Sayasone Sisavath expressed his gratitude to Leshan Vocational and Technical College for its strong support for the education sector in Luang Prabang, Laos, and for its care and cultivation of Lao international students. He hoped that the two sides would strengthen cooperation in sports education, and that Leshan Vocational and Technical College would send outstanding professional teachers to Luang Prabang for exchanges and guidance, to elevate the bilateral cooperation and friendship to a new level.

After the meeting, accompanied by President Liu Zhong, the delegation visited the Lao international students studying at the college and toured the international student dormitory and the student cafeteria.
