On December 16, 2024, the Sino (Sichuan) - Tanzania Vocational Education Dialogue was held in Chengdu, hosted by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education. The dialogue was conducted via online connection between China and Tanzania, with the theme "Exploring New Paths for Vocational Education 'Going Global' in the New Era." It aimed to implement the important outcomes of the 2024 China - Africa Cooperation Forum Beijing Summit, practice the "Belt and Road" educational initiative, and deepen educational cooperation between Sichuan Province and African countries.
