From September 9 to 13, 2019, at the invitation of Deputy Secretary - General Patcharong of the Thai Ministry of Education's Vocational Education Commission, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education organized a delegation of 23 representatives from 11 vocational colleges in the province to visit Thailand for Sichuan - Thailand vocational education exchange and cooperation. During the visit, the delegation also visited Min Buri Vocational College and Mada Phum Vocational College, discussing teacher training, joint student cultivation, and major co - construction. They visited the Laem Chabang Sino - Thai Industrial Park, where they exchanged views with park managers and enterprise representatives on integrating industry and education and cultivating talents through school - enterprise cooperation.
This visit to Thailand was an implementation of the "Belt and Road" education initiative and the "20 Measures for Vocational Education," as well as a significant step in serving Sichuan's southward opening - up. It deepened our college's understanding of Thailand's vocational education and the talent needs of Chinese - funded enterprises in Thailand.
