From April 23rd to 26th, 2015, the 2015 Annual Conference of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) was held in Leshan. During the PATA 2015 Summit, under the meticulous organization and guidance of the Leshan Investment Promotion and Foreign Affairs & Overseas Chinese Affairs Bureau, our college actively deployed resources. Led by the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, the college coordinated and organized meetings between relevant departments and representatives from overseas enterprises and schools attending the PATA conference. These meetings focused on communication and exchanges in areas such as academic exchange, school-enterprise cooperation, joint educational programs, and international students. The college also drafted a memorandum of understanding for cooperation and exchange with one university, reached preliminary cooperation intentions with several overseas schools and enterprises, and established friendly communication channels with participating overseas institutions. Additionally, the college held discussions on international cooperation in higher education with the PATA Nepal Chapter, the University of Hawaii’s School of Travel Industry Management, Dusit Thani Hotel Management College in Thailand, and the Anantara Hotels & Resorts Group in Thailand.

By fully utilizing the PATA 2015 Summit platform, the college strengthened its international exchanges and cooperation, filled gaps in its international cooperation and exchange areas, and expanded channels for future international exchanges and cooperation.
