At 9:00 AM on December 1, 2023, 106 international students from 13 countries, who were the freshmen of 2023, gathered at the school's West Sports Field to participate in their special "Welcome and Ice-Breaking" event. Under the guidance of the International College, the International Student Union seized the opportunity of the new term to organize a simple yet enthusiastic welcome event for these unique "new Leshan Vocational and Technical College people" who came from all over the world.

The event was themed around "Welcoming New Students and Gathering Together." While ensuring the activities were both popular and interesting, three group games were set up. As the game segments unfolded, the atmosphere of the event grew increasingly lively. The international students, who came from different countries and had diverse backgrounds, began to interact and cooperate with each other more and more. Gradually, they overcame the initial shyness at the beginning of the event, opened up to one another, and fully engaged in the activities.

Through a series of activities, the international students gained a new understanding of Leshan Vocational and Technical College, Leshan, and even China. Their confusion and doubts about the upcoming study abroad life were dispelled, enabling them to approach their studies with a spirited attitude and firm confidence. Adhering to the principle of "balancing service and management," the International College will continue to organize various international student activities to enrich students' extracurricular lives and create a positive atmosphere for the international community.
