After nearly two months of fierce competition, the 2018 "Campus Cup" Football League at Leshan Vocational and Technical College, hosted by the College Youth League Committee and the Student Union's Sports Department, came to a successful conclusion. The international students formed their own team and actively participated in the league. Adhering to the spirit of "friendship first, competition second," the international students' football team performed exceptionally well throughout the league. They started strong with a victory against the New Energy Department in the first round and, after eight round-robin matches, secured the championship with a perfect record, topping the league table.
During the matches, the international students' football team demonstrated excellent teamwork and coordination, with each player fulfilling their role and firmly controlling the pace of the game. Their success was not a fluke but the result of the entire team's united efforts. They shared a common goal: to score goals!
This competition also provided an additional platform for interaction between international and Chinese students. It not only fostered friendships among students from different countries but also enhanced everyone's football skills. More importantly, the tournament brought students from various nations together, allowing them to communicate freely and integrate as one. It showcased the positive and proactive spirit of contemporary college students and elevated the level of football at our college to a higher standard!
