From November 13th to 14th, 2024, at the invitation of the Leshan Municipal Government, a delegation led by U Myo Aung, the Chief Minister of Mandalay Region in Myanmar, visited Leshan. In the afternoon of the 13th, accompanied by Ms. Chen Yingli, Deputy Director of the Leshan Municipal Bureau of Economic Cooperation and Foreign Affairs, the delegation visited the school. The Party Secretary of the school, Cheng Dingbin, warmly received Minister U Myo Aung and his delegation and introduced the school's education and training, discipline construction, international exchanges, and other related situations.

Accompanied by Cheng Dingbin, the Myanmar guests visited the Qingjiang Martial Arts Base of the school with great interest and observed the kickboxing and Emei martial arts class demonstrations. They also learned about the historical evolution and intangible cultural heritage of Leshan at the Jiazhou Memory Local Conditions Museum. At the Collaborative Innovation Center for Intelligent Manufacturing, the Industrial Robot System Integration Training Center, the Photovoltaic New Energy Virtual Simulation Training Center, and the Medical Training Center, which are jointly built with Leshan Qihang Precision Mould Co., Ltd., the Myanmar guests gained an in-depth understanding of the school’s vocational education through student training sessions. U Myo Aung highly praised the school’s open educational philosophy, advanced training facilities, and high-quality talent cultivation, and expressed his hope that this visit would strengthen cooperation between the two sides in education and vocational skills, among other fields. He stated that this in-depth exchange was a rare opportunity and hoped that the visit would mark a new beginning of friendship between the two sides, jointly opening a new chapter in educational exchanges between China and Myanmar.

The Vice President of the school and member of the Party Committee, Zhou Qin, as well as relevant leaders from the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, the Olympic School, the Library, the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, the School of New Energy Engineering, the School of Clinical Medicine, and the School of Nursing, participated in the above-mentioned activities.
